Mayor Grafstein spent the afternoon greeting people as they arrived for their first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine from the 300 Pfizer vaccines she was able to secure.

The Association of Chinese Americans hosted an Anti-Asian Hate Forum, and Mayor Grafstein was honored to be their VIP Speaker.

After hearing about recent Anti Asian Hate Crimes, Mayor Grafstein reached out to Shenlin Chen, the president of the Association of Chinese Americans. Chief Haines joined her to reiterate and extend their support for the Asian-American residents and business owners in and around Madison Heights.

After being in the audience many years, Mayor Grafstein presented the State of the City for the first time. It was also the first time that it was held virtually.

Mayor Grafstein met with County Prosecutor Karen McDonald, supporting all efforts to prevent Human Trafficking. She appreciates the partnership Madison Heights has with the county and neighboring cities as they work together to rid our communities of this horrendous crime.
